Do you know him? (How is he similar to God)?

Is he real or fiction?

I've heard this too many times.
Read comments such as;  "how could there be a God  that exists and allows such evil, or bad things to occur in our lives?"
Answer: You're looking at the world through a straw!

Get the bigger picture!

Here is one way to look at it:
How can Captain America be everywhere there is a villain or bad guy in the world, and do all he can with all his might to stop their evil ways or poisoned minds from acting out?
Answer: he simply cannot.

To me, it seems nearly impossible to do it all.  We as 'good people' in the world, still have to do our part to find cures or purge the evils of society. From where we live, to our abilities beyond.
In essence; we are the heros.  Just as law enforcement assets capture, detain or lock away bad people in the world.  Scientists, doctors, those in health professions; searching for cures or ways to overcome the perils in life.  So it actually makes sense to me that way. It doesn't seem like fiction to me?

Granted, as much as we do wish that superheroes like Captain America existed; in reality, those hero's are the average person in society. Willing to step up!                      (Look at yourself)

It takes a concerted effort on our part, in conjunction with believing in yourself.

God,  (You) cannot save those who do not wish to be saved.  (Yourself)  He (you) also cannot be everywhere, but we are everywhere. Some are certainly in the right place, at the right time to help or 'rescue' someone.  It simply takes, acting on our part.  Jumping at the right time when the call was there to be answered.

I imagine, some know what it is like to feel as if no one is there, or no one is reaching out to you.
Offering help, when they (others) are just a shout, call or within walking distance.  Am I wrong?
You ponder that, you decide.

*For those who do not believe in anything; do you not do good deeds anyway?

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

A simple question, with a simple answer:

You are in charge!

To clarify; you over the age of 18 years.  You who feels or believes in your mind or heart that you can take on the weight of any such responsibility yourself.

You own your actions.

You own your thoughts.

You are the one that posesses the highways and bi-ways within your brain.  Granted, there are things in the world and in life that can alter or affect a personal decision. Injuries to the brain are the least of our control.

What you get from the reading of books, watching with your eyes or experience from drugs or the altering 'drug' of the internet today; you still own!

Drinking alcohol; for any reason or any amount in your system.  You may have had a forethought that "if I'm under the influence of alcohol, and I want to do this to her or that to him?, I can blame the alcohol.   Wrong!  You own it!

Unless you are under the age of 18 (in most countries)  and or living at home. Or with extended family, friends or roommates.  You have limitations to what you are in control of. (Outside your mind).

Don't like being in control? See options below.

Your actions or personal decisions can certainly change that for you and even others.

-Incarceration(jail, prison, detention)

-Boot camp (military basic and or extensive training)

-Religious institutions(groups or cults or any aspect thereof) For many; you subject yourself to that religion's rules or 'way of life'. Even when you may deep down feel it is against your inner being.

Going forward from today, just remember this:  No one is making you do anything.  You cannot use peer pressure, society or trends as an excuse.  You cannot say you were forced too, unless directly held down with straps on a gurney or chair.  Walking into a store to steal one or more items.  Driving down the road with phone in hand (eyes upon it) after striking an individual, be it in the street or sidewalk. You own it!

You cannot say to the world, "I had such an awful life growing up, and that is why I am this way and have done what I've  done".

Anything you could possibly imagine doing, when you know that somewhere in society it is frowned upon or against the law.  You own it! (Being "woke" does not count, you people need to "rethink" what you are doing)

Go about your life and do what is just and right, morally speaking.

*Few cannot tell right from wrong and they are the only exception.

Change who you are for the better,(no excuses)

it's about time.
