Life is tough love(part ll)

The anxiety most are feeling in life today, is a result of the loss of simplicity in our lives....

Think about that statement for a moment.   How many do you know or have often learned about- that are on some medication for either anxiety,  stress,  high blood pressure or naturally medicating?

Many do not think that much about how life had been over 100 years ago.

Why?  Too many distractions for one.  Life is far more complicated today than it needs to be.  Instead of looking for ways to make our life easier (washing machines/dryer, automobiles, type writer, calculator,  comfortable home) etc.

We choose to turn life into a competition (the ego) takes over.

To where or what we'll eat,  what we drive,  where or how big (nice) a home we live.  How we look,  seems to really be a significant factor in just "being".

We simply cannot just "be".  It needs to really be 'in your face',  noticeable, to the public.  As if we (nearly all of us) are having clear insecurities on display to the world.   That is by itself,  part of the problem.

Why are we over complicating our lives?   The answer is quite clear:

We've lost ourselves.(Switchfoot-"meant to live")  Lost control of who we are.  We let society decide/dictate who we are.

Life is supposed to be difficult,  challenging,  enduring,  rewarding,  disappointing,  humbling, and persevering.   However,  so much of that is glossed over or forgotten,  by those feeling that life should be easier today(entitlement)

All those generations before us had endured,  struggled,  sacrificed, created, discovered, died,  so that we do not need to experience it ourselves. (Doomed to repeat)

Wrong.

That is by itself,  part of the problem in life.  Especially in America,  or the (Smartphone generation)  Nothing had really changed,  other than tools that were created to make life a little easier.  A library at your fingertips,  a way to find a better route(GPS) rating/reviews of a specific business,  including doctors or schools, etc.

We ourselves lost control,  or allowed it to take control of us(much like alcohol,  drugs, pornography) Think not?  Get back to or rather imagine being in control of every aspect, of your everyday life.

Then tell me; do you need anxiety medication?  Blood pressure medication,  or even the alcohol after a long day, to just reward another day survived yet, again. (Even sleep,  through yet another night ).....

Time to reinvent yourself,  take control of you!

It's about time.
